Theodore Torgerson passed away Friday, August 16, at the Lincoln Rest Home, where he had been for the past five months. He has been living at the home of Mrs. C. J. Stevens for the past ten years. He was taken ill at the Stevens home and was taken to Northfield City Hosital after which he was moved to the rest home.

Mr. Torgerson was born near Stewartville, Olmsted county, June 5, 1867.

He farmed with his father near St. Ansgar, Iowa, and later he was in business in Enderlin, N. D.

He came to Northfield several years ago and lived with his sisters on St. Olaf Avenue, Mrs. Belle Nelson and Miss Lena Torgerson.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Ansgar.

He is survived by his sister, Miss Lena Torgerson who lives with a niece, Mrs. Graham Asher of Kansas City, Mo., and two nephews, Newell Nelson of Minneapolis and Edward Joy Nelson of Chicago.
