Funeral services for Dean Harley Anderson, 36, were held February 25 at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home with burial at the St. Ansgar Cemetery, with Father John Smith officiating. He was killed February 21 in an automobile accident near Carpenter, IA.
Dean Anderson was born June 24, 1946, at Mason City to Nels O. and Alma Pluma DeMaris Anderson. He attended the Carpenter schools and the past years he worked for a painting contractor.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Victor and Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lou of St. Ansgar, a daughter, Ann Marie, and a son, Kameron Dean, both at home; his mother, Alma Anderson, St. Ansgar; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Fae) Eckert, Meltonville, Mrs. Vern (Alta) VanHooser, Nora Springs, and Mrs. Robert (Doris) Pflieger of Plymouth; and two brothers, Russell Anderson, St. Ansgar and Neil Anderson, Plymouth.
