Ingeborg Olsdatter Uhlen was born March 15, 1836 at Uhla, Nedre Lindelien, Aadalen, Buskerud, Norway to Ole Haraldsen Uhlen and Gjertrude Christiansdatter Bakke. She was baptized on May 29, 1836 at the Viker Kirke, Aadal, Buskerud, Norway.

Ingeborg emigrated to America in the summer of 1850 with other family members. Found on the ship "Christiane's" list arriving at New York City from Drammen Norway July 16, 1850. Says she is 18 years old.

Ingeborg married Levor Olson Lindelien (b February 10, 1825, Buskerud, Norway, d September 20, 1896 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa) on May 26, 1853 at Albany, Green, Wisconsin.

The couple had 11 children who were all born at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
Olaves Theodore (b May 26, 1859, 1866 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa);

Hans Lauritz (b March 19, 1861, d May 14, 1930 Becker, Minnesota);

Johan Gerhard (b February 2, 1864, d March 1928);

Levi Oscar (b March 11, 1866, d April 3, 1922);

Anna (b November 1868, d November 1868);

Ida (b November 1868, d November 1868);

Olava Thorine (b April 6, 1869, d April 7, 1901);

Peder Olaus (b July 15, 1871, d June 8, 1890);

Ingvald Leonhard (b October 8, 1873, d 1874);

Inger Andrea (b July 18, 1876, d November 17, 1889) and

Anna Guliana (b November 18, 1878, d May 14, 1960).

Found in the 1856 census living at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:Levi Olson age 31, Ingeborg age 20.

1860: Levi Oleson 34, Isabel Oleson 24, Olarvus T Oleson 1, Edward Ashelson 23.

1870: Levi Oleson 45, Isabel Oleson 36, Lewis Oleson 9, John Oleson 6, Oscar Oleson 4, Torena Oleson 1, Ole Hawlson 57, Jane Hawlson 77.

1880: Levi Olieson 55, Isabel Olieson 44, Lars Olieson 19, Johann Olieson 16, Oscar Olieson 14, Thorine Olieson 11, Peter Olieson 9, Isabel Olieson 4, Anna Olieson 2, Ole Harleson 67, Gertrude Harleson 88, Gabriel Frederickson 20, Hans Strange 20, Julia Johnson 18, Farmer.

1885: Levi Olson 60, Isabelle 48 Lewis 24, John 21, Oscar 19, Thorine 18, Peter 14, Ida 8, Anna 6

1900: Lauris H Olsen 39, Ingeborg Olsen 64, Annie Olsen 21, Stephen Erickson 29. Widowed; 9 children, 5 living.

Died July 21, 1901 Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
