STACYVILLE, IOWA - Barbara “Bobbie” Krebsbach, age 91, of Stacyville, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home in Stacyville.
Cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. There will be gathering of family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville with a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. Inurnment will be at Visitation Cemetery.
Barbara “Bobbie” Krebsbach was born December 8, 1924, at Burr Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Ross and Barbara (Schlaff) Gilchrist. She married Eugene “Dude” Krebsbach on March 27, 1941, in Osage. They farmed in the Stacyville, area. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, and crocheting.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Gary (Diane) Krebsbach of Osage, Larry (Judie) Krebsbach of Traer, and Deb (Ken) Kozak of Stacyville; son-in-law, John Buhrman of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Dick Gilchrist of Las Vegas, Nevada; and sister-in-law, Ardella Krebsbach of Adams, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene “Dude” Krebsbach; daughter, Barbara Buhrman; an infant daughter; grandson, Mark Buhrman; granddaughter, Lisa Krebsbach; brother, Donald Gilchrist; sisters, Catherine Hennings, Mary-Ann Owen, and Dorothy Halvorson.
