Ingeborg Olsdatter Sponheim was born September 1860 at Ulvik, Hordaland, Norway, to Ole Olesen Sponheim and Synneva Knudsdatter Oppedal.
She emigrated to Iowa, arriving June 14, 1884 at New York and traveling on to settle at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
Ingeborg married Lars Johannesen Eidnes on March 19, 1888 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
The couple had five children who were all born in Mitchell County, Iowa:
Ella Josephine (1890-1934)
Oscar Severin (1891-1904)
Clara Emelie (1893-1978)
Adella Josephine (1895-1934)
Elmer Herman (1899 - 1978)
Found in the 1900 - 1920 censuses living on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: Lars Eidnes 39, Ingeborg Eidnes 39, Ella J Eidnes 10 (Ella Josephine who married Albert Wamstad), Oscar S Eidnes 8, Clarah E Eidnes 7, Adella J Eidnes 4, Elmer H Eidnes 1.
1910: Louis G Eidner 49, Emma Eidner 49, Ella J Eidner 20, Clara Eidner 17, Della Eidner 14, Elmer S Eidner 10.
1915: Mrs Lars Eidnes age 53
1920: Louis J Eidnes 59, Eingeborg Eidnes 59, Della J Eidnes 24, Elmer H Eidnes 20.
Ingeborg Eidnes died March 4, 1923 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. She is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
There is a memorial for her at Find a Grave #61560567.
