FORMER OSAGE GIRL
DIES IN MINNESOTAMrs. Harry Toms, 41, well-remembered in this county, died Tuesday following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Toms is the former Laura Miller, and was the daughter of Mrs. H.O. Miller.
Mrs. Toms was born on June 14, 1902, at St. Ansgar. While she was a small child the family moved to Osage and her father was in business here, operating a butcher shop for a number of years. He died a year ago.
Mrs. Toms was graduated from the Osage high school, and a couple of years later was married to Hale Smith. Later she married Arthur Otto, and they made their home at Mason City. One child was born to this union, Patty, who survives.
Deceased was married to Harry Toms several years ago and they resided at various places. They were living at Cross Lake, Minnesota, at the time of her death.
Surviving Mrs. Toms is her husband; her daughter and her mother, the latter of whom lives at Fairmont, Minnesota; also her brother, Lloyd Miller, who is in the service and was in Alaska when local relatives last heard of him; and a sister, Mrs. Gary Martin of Worthington, Minnesota.
Charles Feldt, Mrs. Henry Intorf and Mrs. Joe Dean, cousins, went to Morgan, Minnesota today, where burial is to take place.
