MITCHELL CO., DIES
Mrs. W. J. Bartle received word that her aunt, Mrs. Fred Olson, 67, passed away suddenly at her home at Ryder, North Dakota, June 7, 1943.
The deceased's maiden name was Agnes Vaughn, and she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget Brady Vaughn. She was born on the old home place near the town of Bailey.
Her first marriage was to James McCarthy of New Haven. They were parents of a on who passed away when a young man. Mr. McCarthy died a few years later.
March 1, 1938, she was married to Fred Olson of Ryder, North Dakota.
She had been failing since the accidental death of her sister, Mrs. Bessie Vaughn-Noonan, in May 1941.
Surviving is her husband; several step-children; a brother, James Vaughn, who is in the hospital at Osage, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on June 10, 1943, at Minot, North Dakota.
