DIES, RESIDENT OF
OSAGE FOR 41 YEARSMrs. Jacob Donsker, 71, passed away at her home on west Main street last Friday morning after an illness that extended over the past three years. Mrs. Donsker has been a resident of Osage for 41 years and was known and liked by a wide circle of friends.
Ida Zelner was born in Russia on November 14, 1871. She was married there to Jacob Donsker, on March 1, 1893, and to them were born three children -- Nathan of Minneapolis; Ben and Amelia of Osage.
Mrs. Donsker came to America in January, 1902, and came directly to Osage, where she had since lived. She was a devoted mother and her largest interest was in her family. Mrs. Donsker was a great lover of flowers and gardens and spent much of her time during the growing season with them. She is going to be missed in the neighborhood where she lived so long.
Surviving are the three children named; also three grandchildren, Stanley and Monroe, sons of Nathan Donsker, and Marcia, daughter of her younget son, Ben; also her sister, Mrs. Himer Blinder, of Osage.
Funeral service was at the Hodroff mortuary, Minneapolis, conducted by Rabbi Albert, I Gordon. Burial was at Adath Jeshurun cemetery at Minneapolis.
