CARLIN BUCKNAM'S
LOST INFANT SON
Bruce Carlin, son born to Mr. and Mrs. Carlin Bucknam February 16, 1943, died after a three-day illness at a hospital at Omaha, Nebraska, and the remains were brought here today, Thursday, for interment.
Mrs. Bucknam and the baby had returned from the hospital to their home at Omaha on Friday, with no indication whatever other than the baby was healthy and strong. Soon after arriving home, however, he became ill, and was returned that evening to the hospital where he passed away Sunday afternoon.
Surviving beside Mr. and Mrs. Bucknam (Constance Wamstad) are three brothers, Donald, David and Robert.
As neither of the parents were able to make the trip here at this time, Mrs. Brede Wamstad, the baby's grandmother, who had spent the past month at the Bucknam home, accompanied the remains to Osage. Mr. Wamstad, representing this county in the state legislature, arrived here on Wednesday evening to remain until after the service and interment, which will be at the Rock Creek cemetery, probably Friday afternoon.
