Steven Craig Holm – December 19, 1952 – June 15, 2015
Steven Holm, age 62, of Osage, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at his daughter’s home in Charles City, after a short battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.
Steve was born December 9, 1952, in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Loren and Donna (Anhorn) Holm. He graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and studied business in college. In September of 1986, Steve married Trudy Abel in Waseca, Minnesota. For the past 17 years, he worked as a mechanic at Armour Eckrich in Mason City. Steve was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed model trains, camping, and going to wineries.
Steve is survived by his wife, Trudy Holm of Charles City; children, Hope (Scott) Ehlinger of Johnston, B’Elanna Holm of Charles City, and Amanda (Jason) Wagner of Osage; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
