Peder Olaus Olson was born July 15, 1871 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Levor Olson Lindelien and Ingeborg Olsdatter Uhlen, the eighth of their eleven children.
Peter was baptized on August 6, 1871 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and confirmed at the same church on June 5, 1887.
Found in the 1880 & 1885 censuses living on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1880: Levi Olieson 55, Isabel Olieson 44, Lars Olieson 19, Johann Olieson 16, Oscar Olieson 14, Thorine Olieson 11, Peter Olieson 9, Isabel Olieson 4, Anna Olieson 2, Ole Harleson 67, Gertrude Harleson 88, Gabriel Frederickson 20,
Hans Strange 20, Julia Johnson 18,
1885: Levi Olson 60, Isabelle 48 Lewis 24, John 21, Oscar 19, Thorine 18, Peter 14, Ida 8, Anna 6
Peder O Olson died from a diptheria epidemic (as did his sister) on June 8, 1890 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. He is buried at Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
There is a memorial for him at Find a Grave #99561607.
