Roy Herbert Olson was born May 2, 1911 at Burr Oak, Mitchell, Iowa to Martin B Olson and Martha Marie Gulbrandson, the youngest of their seven children.
Found in the 1915, 1920 censuses at Burr Oak, Mitchell, Iowa:
1915: Roy Olson age 4.
1920: Martin B Olson 53, Martha Olson 43,Albert G Olson 23, Mabel O Olson 21, Myron Olson 17, Luella Olson 16, Roy Olson 8.
Found in the 1925, 1930 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1925: Martin B Olson 58, Martha Olson 49, Ray Olson 13.
1930: Martin B Olson 61, Martha M Olson 53, Myron A Olson 27, Roy H Olson 18.
Roy married Mary Elizabeth Nicholas on May 10, 1939 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The couple had at least one son.
Roy H Olson died February 25, 2001 at Yucca Valley, San Bernardino, California. Did not find his burial site.
