Martha J Olson was born November 18, 1899 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Bernt C Olson and Helena Antonson, the fifth of their eight children.
Found in the 1900 - 1915 censuses at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: Ben C Olsen 46, Helena Olsen 30, Alma J Olsen 10, Oscar A Olsen 7, Laura C Olsen 5, Clara H Olsen 2, Martha J Olsen 6/12.
1910: Ben C Olson 56, Helen Olson 40, Oscar I Olson 17, Dorn C Olson 15, Clara Olson 12, Martha Olson 10, Carl Olson 6, Ole Olson 3, Alfred Olson 2 mos.
1915: Martha Olson age 15.
Martha married John W Timmerman on April 7, 1920 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
The couple had two children, Dorothy and Dale.
Found in the 1930 census living at Jenkins, Mitchell, Iowa: John W. Timmerman 35, Martha J. Timmerman 30, Dorothy J. Timmerman 8, Dale K. Timmerman 1.
Found in the 1940 census at Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa: Martha Timmerman 40, Dale Timmerman 11. Widowed.
Martha J Timmerman died February 11, 1995 at Walnut Creek Contra Costa, California according to the Social Security record found. She was buried at the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa.
There is a memorial for her at Find a Grave #79760271.
