Kathleen Rachel Gibson, age 59, of Osage, Iowa, died Saturday November 29, 2014, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Following services cremation will take place. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Kathy was born on October 4, 1955, in Osage the daughter of Eugene and Mary Lou (Woodward) Dale. She graduated from Riceville High School in 1974. Kathy worked for John Christner Trucking in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, as an over the road truck driver. She enjoyed playing cards at the Osage Senior Center, fishing with her grandson, gardening and taking care of her five cats.

Kathy is survived by her son, Shawn Mayer of Stacyville; her parents, Eugene Dale of Decorah and Mary Lou Dale of Osage; a sister, Arlene (Dennis) Felper of Riceville; a brother, Russell (Kathy) Dale of Chicago, Illinois; her three grandchildren, Brennan, Mackenzie and Rylie Mayer all of Stacyville.
