LYNETTE KLEIN TAKEN BY DEATH

Funeral rites were held Thursday afternoon for an Osage resident, Lynette Klein, 67, who died at the White House of Osage on March 2, 1981, following a year's illness. Rev. H. Larson associate pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, was in charge of the rites at the Champion Funeal Home, and burial was at St. Peter Cemetery in Toeterville.

Lynette Bertha Geffert was born on September 8, 1913, at Toeterville, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore and Mattie Decklever Geffert. She attended the rutal schools of the area.

Nick Klein and Lynette Geffert were married on September 28, 1932, making their home in Mitchell. They moved to Osage in 1958. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and was a Gold Star Mother of the VFW Auxiliary to Post 7920.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Darrell Beyer (Sharon) of Osage and Mrs. Charles Bruce (Diane) of Single Springs, California; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband Nick, in 1975; one son, Robert, who lost his life in the service of his country; her parents and one brother.
