FUNERAL HELD FOR
MOLLY LEINENKUGEL

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City, Wisconsin, for Mrs. Molly Leinenkugel, 90, who died Sunday, October 17, 1971, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, Iowa.

Msgr Bier was in charge of sevices and burial was in St. Aloysius cemetery there.

Molly Bridget Jahnel was born on August 11, 1881, in Roxbury, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank and Barbara Fossbinder Jahnel. They moved near Carpenter when she was six years old and she attended the area schools. The family later moved to New Haven.

Molly Jahnel and Paul Leinenkugel were married on Octber 15, 1909 at Sauk City, Wisconsin, where they spent all their married life. Mr. Leinenkugel died in 1957.

She continued to live in Sauk City until 1965 when she went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Rothman and family in Monona, Wisconsin. In August of this year she came to Faith Home in Osage, and a week later became a patient at Memorial hospital where she remained until her death.

Surviving are one son, Norman Leinenkugel of New Haven, one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Florence) Rothman of Monona, Wisconsin, 11 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Doris (Francis) Rodamaker of Hot Springs, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; six brothers: Herman, Ed, Albin, Peter, Henry and Frank; and three sisters: Mrs. Sarah Johanns, Mrs. Lonie Siefert and Mrs. Mary Jennings.
