Funeral services for a former Osage man, Carl Koch, 85, were held Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Austin. Mr. Koch died Saturday at his home in Austin. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Carl Koch was born in Germany on September 21, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Koch. He accompanied his parents to Mitchell county when he was a young child.
Surviving are his wife, Matie of Austin; one son, Stewart Koch of Phoenix, Arizona; a grandson; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ted Frank of Osage, Mrs. Nettie Peterson of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Cora McDermott of Waterloo; two brothers, Alvin Koch of Mason City and Fred Koch of Phoenix.
