GLEN GRAVES, 70,
OF OSAGE DIEDFuneral services for an Osage man, Glen Graves, 70, who died on October 13, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital were held Saturday. Mr. Graves had been confined to the hospital for two weeks with a heart condition.
Rev. W. Gjerde, pastor of United Methodist church, was in charge of the rites at the Champion Funeral Homes, and burial was in the Liberty Cemetery, Little Cedar.
Norma Dense of Stacyville and Glen Graves were united in marriage on October 1, 1929, in Osage. They continued to live on the Graves farm until moving to Osage in 1957, when he became employed by the Twin Cedar Dairy. He remained with that firm until its closing in 1967. Then he began work with the Stacyville Co-op Creamery and remained with that firm until his hospitalization on September 26.
He was a member of the United Methodist church in Osage and held a lifetime membership in the Woodman Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Norma of Osage; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Havens (LaVonne) of Dysart; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ora Macklin of Glendale, Calif.; two nieces and two nephews.
