FUNERAL HELD FOR
MRS. H. ANDERSON
Funeral services for Mrs. H.O. (Mamie) Anderson, 93, of Minneapolis, and formerly of Mona, Iowa, were held on August 11, 1971 at Mona Lutheran Church, with Rev. W. Kamke of Toeterville in charge. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Mona. She died in Minneapolis on August 8, 1971.
Mamie Everson, the daughter of I.K. and Anna Everson, was born at Mona on February 18, 1878. She was baptized at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church and confirmed at Mona Lutheran church and grew up at Mona, where she also attended school.
On September 2, 1896, she was married to H.O. Anderson at Mona, and they lived at Crookston and Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, before going to Minneapolis.
Surviving are three sons: Russell and Merle Anderson of Minneapolis, Andy Anderson in California; 14 grandchildren and one brother, Ervin Everson of Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one daughter, Mrs. William (Evelyn) Schermer of Waterloo.
