RITES TODAY FOR
W.W. JOHNSONFuneral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) for a rural Osage man, W. Woodrow Johnson, 58, who died Tuesday morning at his home. His death was caused by a heart attack.
Rev. D. Berg, pastor, will be in charge of the services at Rock Creek Lutheran Church. Arrangements are being made by C.R. Champion and Sons, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
William Woodrow Johnson was born at Emmons, Minnesota, on May 30, 1913, the son of Iver and Martha Davidson Johnson. He grew to manhood in the Emmons area.
Genevieve Hebel and Woodrow Johnson were united in marriage on October 22, 1932 in Forest City, Iowa. They began their married life at Emmons, moving to their present farm nine miles west of Osage 25 years ago.
Mr. Johnson was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; one son, Duane; one daughter, Mrs. Jerome Johanns (Darlene), both of Osage; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jerald (Deborah) Johnson of Amarillo.
