FUNERAL HELD FOR
W.J. KLOBERDANZ, 62

Funeral services were held June 1, 1971 at St. Joseph Catholic church in Mason City for Wenzel Kloberdanz, 62, who died on May 28, 1971, at Mercy Hospital there. Mr. Kloberdanz had been ill for two months with cancer.

Rev B. Collins, pastor, was in charge of the rites, and burial was in Mason City.

Wenzel J. Kloberdanz was born at Rothamel, Russia, on August 15, 1908, the son of John and Rose Lauer Kloberdanz. He came to the United States with his family in 1911, attending schools in Chicago and Osage.

Elizabeth Frank of Eagle Grove and Wenzel Kloberdanz were married on April 7, 1934. They had always lived in mason City, and he was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are four sons: Paul of Danville, Iowa, James of Des Moines, Richard and Ronald of Mason City; his father, John Kloberdanz, Sr. of Osage; five sisters: Mrs. Madge Leachman of Mason City, Mrs. Frank Arickx (Kathryn) of Osage, Mrs. George Marreel (Rose) of Osage, Mrs. George Gorrell (Margaret) of Chicago, Mrs. Gordon Niddrie (Leona) of Rockford, Illinois; and four brothers, John, Jr., Joe and Pete of Osage, and Al of Charles City.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Elizabeth, and his mother.
