RITES FRIDAY FOR
MRS. L. WINKELS, 48

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at the Sacred Heart Church in Meyer, Iowa, for Mrs. Lambert Winkels, 48, who died at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage early Tuesday morning. She had been in failing health the past year, and had been a patient at the Osage hospial for the past three weeks and at a Rochester hospital earlier this year.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Services will be at the Hatten Funeral Home in Stacyville this (Thursday) afternoon at 3 p.m., and in the evening at 8 p.m.

Surviving are her husband, Lambert; one son, Keith; and three daughters, Katherine, Virginia and Linda.

Dorothy Ellen (Snyder) Winkels was born on September 19, 1922, at LeRoy, Minnesota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Snyder.

CANCER FATAL TO
MRS. L. WINKELS, 48

Funeral services for a Stacyville wife and mother, Mrs. Lambert Winkels, 48, were held Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Meyer. Mrs. Winkels died as the result of a malignancy, May 25, 1971, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, Iowa.

Rev. T. Carpender, church pastor, was in charge of the mass, and burial was in the Meyer cemetery. Hatten Funeral Home of Stacyville made the arrangements.

Dorothy Snyder was born on September 19, 1922, near LeRoy, Minnesota, the daughter of Warren Paul and Louise Schuler Snyder. She attended grade school in McIntire and was graduated there in 1940. She was employed for more than two years as bookkeeper for Younkers Department store in Des Moines.

Lambert R. Winkels and Dorothy Snyder were married on October 16, 1946, at All Saints church in Des Moines. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and Rosary Society at sacred Heart church in Meyer. She served as secretary of those organizations in 1962 and as president in 1963.

Surviving are her husband, Lambert; one son, Keith; three daughters: Katherine, Virginia and Linda, at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
