Frieda A. Schroeder was born January 31, 1898 at Dane County, Wisconsin to August W. Schroeder and Emma S. Lewke.

Found in the 1900, 1905 censuses living at Verona, Dane County, Wisconsin:
1900: August Schroeder, 60, born October 1839 Germany; Freda, 59, born October 1840 Germany; August W., 29, son born July 1870 Germany; Emma, daughter-in-law 24 born May 1876 Wisconsin; Freda, granddaughter, 2, born January 1897 Wisconsin.

1905: Aug. Schroeder, 68, Frederika Schroeder, 67, August W. Schroeder, 34, Emma Schroeder 22, Freda D. Schroeder, 7, Carl R. Schroeder 4.

Found in the 1910 census at Vienna, Dane, Wisconsin: August Schroeder, 70, Friedricka Schroeder, 69, August W. Schroeder, 39, Emma S. Schroeder, 34, Frieda A. Schroeder, 12, Carl R. Schroeder, 8. (Her family is living with her father's parents)

Frieda married Oscar George Schroeder on February 10, 1918 at Vienna, Dane, Wisconsin.

The couple had two sons:
Melvin George (b November 3, 1918 Wisconsin, d November 27, 1942 over South Pacific during World War) and Oscar J. (Junior) Schroeder (b August 7, 1921 St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa, d January 7, 1992 Rochester, Olmsted, MN).

Family found in the 1930 census living at Saint Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa: Oscar F Schroeder, 39, born Iowa; Freda A., 32, born Wisconsin; Melvin, 11, born Wisconsin; Oscar, 7, born Iowa.

Frieda Schroeder died December 9, 1958 at St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
