RITES WEDNESDAY FOR
MARS. RAY WILLIAMS, 67

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Ray Williams, 67, who died May 22, 1971. Rites were held in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo.

Ruth Gilbert was born on April 1, 1904, on the Gilbert family homestead north of Osage, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Elizabeth (Gilbert) Gilbert.

Gerald Sommer and Ruth Gilbert were married in 1930 and to them were born three children. He preceded her in death. She married Rev. Ray D. Williams in September 1959, and since that time they had resided in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area.

Preceding her in death besides her first husband were her father; one son, Harry; and one brother, George Gilbert.

Surviving are her children, Raymond of Collegedale, Tennessee, and Mrs. Larry Barker (Pearl) of LeRoy, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gilbert; seven brothers and sisters: Alan of Van Nuys, Calif., Max(?) of Greentown, Indiana, Grant of Miami, Florida, John and Lawrence of Osage, Mrs. Leonard Butler of Rudd and Mrs. Kasper Nielsen of Grand Meadow, Minnesota.
