FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR
MRS. ILENE ROEHRFuneral services for Mrs. Leonard Roehr, 50, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Roehr died Tuesday morning at Mitchell County Memorial hospital, having been ill only ten days.
Rev. O. Hoven of Badger, Iowa will be in charge of the services at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Arrangements are being made by C. R. Champion and Sons, and burial will be in the Osage cemetery.
Ilene Lines was born at Marble Rock, Iowa, on February 4, 1921, the daughter of Elmer and Mata Ewald Lines. She graduated from high school in Marble Rock in 1938, and grew to womanhood there.
Leonard Roehr and Ilene Lines Ackley were united in marriage on October 19, 1968, and they established their home in Osage.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and until her recent illness had been engaged as bookkeeper for Pfaltzgraff Plumbing and Heating.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard, of Osage; three children by a previous marriage, Neil Francis Ackley with the navy and stationed at Pensacola, Florida, Adrian Paul Ackley of marble Rock, and Virgiane Kay (Jeanie) Ackley, a senior at Osage Community high school; four grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lines of Marble Rock; and one brother, Merland Lines also of Marble Rock.
