Masonic Lodge No. 102 of Osage will conduct services on Wednesday, July 8, 1987 at the Hatten Funeral Home in Stacyville, Iowa, for Brutis M. Bush, 79, of Stacyville. Graveside services will be at the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Iowa, with Hale Penney Fuller American Legion Post No. 569 of Stacyville.

Mr. Bush died Sunday, July 5, 1987, at the Stacyville Nursing Home.

He was born on February 22, 1908 in Garner, Iowa, to Fred and Ethel (Monlux) Bush. He attended school in Osage. Before entering the service during World War II, he practiced law in Osage.

On January 10, 1942, he married Irma Kinney at St. Louis, Missouri.

He was a star route mail carrier and served as Stacyville postmaster for 20 years, retiring in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Irma, of Stacyville; one son, Dr. David Bush of Beverly Farms, Mass.; and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Vroom, of Lakeland Florida.
