Carmen Arneele Huset was born February 27, 1923 at Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Clarence Oscar Huset & Alma Thorine Olson, the third of their four children.
Found in the 1925 - 1940 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1925: Clarence O Huset 39, Alma T Huset 34, Leona K Huset 13, Clarice O Huset 8, Carmen A Huset 1.
1930: Clarence O Huset 46, Alma T Huset 40[41] , Leona C Huset 18, Clarice O Huset 13, Carmen A Huset 7, Merlyn D Huset 2 yrs 9 mos.
1940: Alma Huset 50, Carmen Huset 17, Merlyn Huset 12.
Carmen served in the US Navy from 1944-1946.
He married Madeline Hogan on June 23, 1946 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Chickasaw, Iowa.
The couple had 3 children.
Carmen was a plumber by trade. In 1949, he moved with his wife and daughter to Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. The family lived in various areas of Wisconsin and in March 1988, Carmen retired from working. He enjoyed family history and wrote articles about his genealogy that can be found in the 1989 "History of Mitchell County" book, pages 316, 317.
Carmen Huset died May 21, 1996 at Onalaska, La Crosse, Wisconsin. Did not find where he was buried.
