Lester Wilson Howe was born April 1, 1886 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Everett and Jeanette "Nellie" (Wilson) Howe, one of two sons. He had an older brother, Amber.
Lester married Olive Adelia Johnson on December 2, 1909 at Mitchell County, Iowa.
Six children: Louis Everett (1910-1996); Harold Johnson (1912-1963); Everett John (1915-1915); Jeanette Isabel (1917-2011); Clara Louise (1920-1994) and Kenneth Lester (1920-1941).
Found in the 1900 - 1920 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: Everett Howe 39, Nettie V Howe 39, Amber E Howe 16 (male), Lester W Howe 14.
1910: Lester W Howe 24, Olive Adelia Johnson Howe 21.
1911 Mitchell County Iowa Atlas on Ancestry.com shows farm that Lester owned and operated located at Section 28 of East Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa.
1915: Lester W Howe age 28.
1920: Lester W Howe 32, Olive J Howe 31, Louis E Howe 9, Harold J Howe 7, Jennet I Howe 2 yrs 9 mos.
Lester Wilson Howe died July 16, 1921 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
