OSAGE, IOWA - Marjorie H. Brumm, 84, of Osage, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Faith Home in Osage.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Msgr. John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 5 p.m.

Marjorie was born July 13, 1928, in Bordulac, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Emilia (Popelka) Pitra.

She graduated from Osage Community High School in 1946. On June 23, 1951, Marjorie married Clarence Brumm at the Little Flower Chapel, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Marjorie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Guild, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary and Mitchell County Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and any and all card games.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Richard (Karen) Brumm Osage; seven grandchildren, Eric (Kim) of Nevada, Iowa, Andrew (Katie) of Osage, Marita of Mason City, Patti of Richardson, Texas, Nina of Dubuque, Shelly of Osage, and Isaac of Osage; great-grandchildren, Dex of Dubuque, Tucker of Osage, Victor of Nevada, and two great-grandchildren expected in 2013; and sister, Stacia Balsley of Canton, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence in 2012; her son, Joseph Brumm in 1965; four brothers and three sisters.
