Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23, 1986, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Mesa, for Paul E. Loney, a Santee, California resident, formerly of the Osage, Iowa, area.
Mr. Loney, 55, died Thursday, August 21, 1986, at AMI Valley Medical Center. He was buried at fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Mr. Loney, a native of the Osage area, moved to San Diego 30 years ago and settled in Santee in 1957. While in the area he worked for 21 years as a deputy sheriff, with the county sheriff's department. He retired in 1981. He served in the Navy from 1950-1954.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Lewis of San Diego and Richard Wayne of Anaheim; two daughters, Deborah Ann Needell of San Jose; two brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren, and his mother, Mrs. Lyle Loney of Osage.
