Funeral services were held Thursday, September 18, 1986 for Angeline Pearl Hoyt, 100, formerly of the Osage and Little Cedar areas.
She died on Tuesday, September 16, 1986 at a Lake City nursing home. Graveside services were held Thursday afternoon at the Osage Cemetery.
The former Angeline Clayton was born in Farina, Illinois. She moved to Amoret, Missouri, as a child and worked there as a school teacher, bank teller and postal clerk. In 1907 she married Benjamin B. Hoyt at Amoret, Missouri. They lived in Michigan and Ohio and moved to Farnhamville in 1927. Mr. Hoyt died in 1958.
Mrs. Hoyt lived at a nursing home in Lake City since 1983.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Beth) Haynes of Farnhamville; one son, Ben of Mason City; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
