Funeral services were held Monday, September 29, 1986, at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, rural Osage, for Mrs. Lloyd (Corinne) Odden, 82, of Osage. Rev. R. Hoppenworth officiated, and burial was in Orchard Cemetery. She died on Friday, September 26, 1986 at an Osage, Iowa, nursing home.

Mrs. Odden was born on July 9, 1904 in Osage, Iowa, to Will T. and Pearl L. (Smith) Morse. She graduated from Osage High School.

In 1924 she married John Grinstead. He died in 1973. She married Lloyd Odden in 1980 and they made their home in Osage.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; five daughters: Mrs. Les (Dorine) Thurnau of Osage, Mrs. Bill (Ruth) Johnson of Dixon, California, Mrs. Alice Morrison of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Joe (Lynda) Retterath of Circle Pines, Minnesota, and Mrs. Roger (Cynthia) Brumm of Stacyville, Iowa; eight sons: Jerry of Waterloo, Bill of Shakopee, Minnesota, Donald of Lewiston, Idaho, Jim of Osage, Larry of Austin, Minnesota, Richard of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, David of Alhambra, Calif., and Ronald of Wakefield, Virginia; 33 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
