Anne Gudbrandsdatter was born March 7, 1822 at Skiager, Gran, Hadeland, Oppland, Norway to Gudbrand Hansen and Ronnouv Jacobsdatter, the second of four children (may be more children). Her sisters were: Dorthe, Johanne, Kari. (Also found birth date March 10, 1821 but couldn't locate birth record in Norwegian Digital Archives).

She married Peder Larsen Framstad on April 30, 1852 at Gran, Hadeland, Norway. Marriage record found at Norwegian Digital Archives online for Gran, Hadeland, Oppland, Norway 1842-1856, page 956, entry # 23. Peder Larsen age 24, Anne Gudbrandsdatter age 28.

The couple had at least 3 children: Dorthe, Gudbrand (Gilbert) and Randi Anna.

Believe they emigrated in the spring of 1872, possibly April and settled in Mitchell County, Iowa using the surname Framstadiet a short time but shortening that to Framstad.

Anne Gudbrandsdatter Framstad died December 17th or 18th, 1910 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1885 -1910 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, IA. Says she had 5 children, 3 living in 1900, 2 in 1910.
1885: Peter Framstad 57, Anna Framstad 62, Anna Framstad 28.

1895: Anna Framstad age 72.

1900: Peder Framstad 72, Anne Framstad 78. Says born March 1822; emigrated 1872.

1910: Gudbrand (Gilbert) Pedersen Framstad 55, Dora Framstad 51[57], Peter Gudbrandsen Framstad 26, Anna Olivia Framstad 20, Olga Louise Framstad 17, Dan George Framstad 15, Della Randine Framstad 12, Ole Framstad 9, Anne Gudbrandsdatter Framstad 89.

(Censuses transcribed as found without fixing spelling errors. Multiple birth and death dates found and included here, not sure which is correct.)
