Funeral services are tentatively set for Friday, June 5, 1987, at United Church of Christ in Osage, Iowa, for David McGhan, 30, of San Jose, California, and formerly of Osage.
Mr. McGhan died on Sunday, May 31, 1987 in a Redwood City, California hospital, following a brief illness. Rev. K. Hejnal will officiate.

#2:Memorial services were held Friday, June 5, 1987 at United Church of Christ, Osage, for David D. McGhan, 30, of San Jose, California, and formerly of Osage, who died on Sunday, May 31, 1987, at a Redwood City, Calif., hospital after a bried illness. Rev. K. Hejnal officaited. The body was cremated and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Mr. McGhan was born on December 26, 1956 in Osage. He attended osage schools and graduated from Osage High School in 1976. He served in the Navy for four years. After discharge, he lived and worked in California.
Surviving include his parents, Virgil "Mike" and JoAnn McGhan of Osage; four sisters: Vicki Pelleymounter of Charles City, Carol Showalter of Iowa City, Jill Olson of Orchard, and Patti McGhan of Mountain View, Calif.; one brother, Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his grandfather, Virgil McGhan Sr. of St. Ansgar.
