HELEN BOCELEWATZ

Helen Bocelewatz, 94, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Trinity Nursing Care Center in Merriam, KS. Private inurnment will be Thursday, November 10.

Helen Slaichert was born March 30, 1917 in E. Lincoln, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph P Slaichert and Anna (Kolarek) Slaichert.

She married Clarence Peter Winterton, the son of Peder Winterton and Elizabeth (Iverson) Winterton. They were divorced somewhere between 1940-1947. Clarence remarried to Alice Mutz on August 23, 1947 in Jackson, Missouri. (Missouri marriage records).

She married Mike Bocelewatz, the son of John and Anna Bocelewatz., date of marriage unknown but it was before 1952 when she starts to appear in the City Directories.

She was buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas
