Mason City, Iowa - Adeline Blanche Beinke, 88, Mason City, formerly of Mesa, AZ, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Good Shepherd Health Care Center in Mason City.

A celebration of life service for Adeline will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saurday, April 6, 2013, at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street N.E., Mason City, with Pastor Kent Mechler Chaplin at Good Shepherd Health Center officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Manly Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time on Saturday at the chapel.

Adeline Blanche Beinke was born on September 26, 1924 in Cedar Township, Mitchell county, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew and Ida Mary (Seffinga) Anderson.

In her early years, Adeline remained at home to help raise her brothers and sisters. Adeline worked for Decker's Meat Packing Company in Mason City until its' closing, and in her early 50's she earned her GED, and continued her college education at N.I.A.C.C. in Mason City, receiving her LPN degree. Adeline began her career working at Mercy Hospital and continued her nursing career in Roswell, NM, before retiring in Mesa, AZ. After her retirement, she worked at a craft shop, and had her own craft whows in her retirement community in Mesa, and also enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Adeline loved and enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

She was united in marriage to Myron Beinke and lived in Clear Lake, until Myron built their home in Mason City, and to this marriage three daughters were born, Janice, Peggy, and Barbara.

Adeline moved to Fort Dodge in January of 2009 to the Marion Home, and then moved to Good Shepherd in Mason City in 2011 to be close to family and friends.

While living in Mason City she was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she belonged to a church circle, taught Sunday school, and was a member of a bridge club.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Peggy (Jim) Bingham of Aurora, Colorado, and Barbara (Nick) Stricker of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Cathy Carl, Christy (Chase) Moser, Rick (Michelle) Carl, Jenny (Billy) Willis, Allison (John) Zelm, Elizabeth (Thomas) Keagy, Joe (Barb) Stricker, Julie Stricker, and Jon (Lisa) Stricker; her great-grandchildren, Eric, William and Joshua Carl, Jessica, Trinity, and Jake Willis, Analise, Weston, and Jace Zelm, Abby and T.J. Keagy, Zack, Blake, Cody, Deegan, Skyler, and Kia Stricker; Her brothers and sisters, Kate (Ray) Christianson, of Marshaltown, Glen (Elida) Anderson of Austin, Texas, and Arne (Sylvia) Anderson of Sunrise, Ariscona, and Melvin (Joice) Anderson of Ionia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janice; her sisters, Gladys (Frank) Brych, Darlene (Marvin) Buckmaster, and Bernice (Walter) Peterson.
