Funeral services for Mrs. Fred W. Dieterich, 83, who died July 22, 1969 were held July 25 at St. John's Lutheran church, rock township, Mitchell, with the Rev. Elmer Jacobs officiating.

Anna O. Dieterich, nee Feldt, was born November 15, 1885 in rural Carpenter, the daughter of Ferdinand and Ottilie Feldt. She was baptized on Christmas day in 1885 by the Rev. J.L. Zarlinger. Her sponsors were Frederick Krueger, Johanna Priem and Emilie Erdman. She received her education in a public school of Newburg township, and was confirmed April 8, 1900 by the Rev. j. Becker.

On October 28, 1906 whe was united in marriage to Frederick W. Dieterich by the Rev. John Landeck at Emmanuel Lutheran church, Grafton. they enjoyed many years of farm life on their farm in Mitchell county. Three children were born to this union; Arthur L., St. Ansgar; mrs. Wilma Tesch, Osage, and Raymond of Austin, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Dieterich retired from the farm and moved to St. Ansgar in October of 1944. They continued to reside here until March 26, 1969 when Mrs. Dieterich became ill from a heart attack from which she nevber fully recovered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Dieterich is survived by her husband, Fed, who is currently a resident of the Good Samaritan Center here; her three childeren; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Feldt, St. Ansgar, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Bullis, Oroville, Calif.

Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Jacobs in charge of athe committal services.
