Randi Maria Flatla was born March 24, 1880 at Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Borger Flatla and Kjersti Hovelsdatter Hvattum, the third of their six children and the 2nd daughter to be named Randi. Her siblings were: Randi, Ole, Hovel, Anna and Anna.
Randi was baptized and later confirmed on June 30, 1895 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Iowa.
Randi married Edward T. Bilden on November 27, 1900 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa; the couple had two daughters:
Beate T. Bilden (1903 - 1994) and
Cora Rosina Bilden (1906 - 1993).
Randi Maria Flatla Bilden died January 1, 1968 at Butte, California and was buried at the Chico Cemetery, Chico, Butte, California.

1880: Borger Flatla 43, Cristy Flatla 24, Ole Flatla 3, Rachel Flatla 2m.
1885: Borger Flatla 48, Christine Flatla 28, Ole Flatla 8, Rande M Flatla 4, Hovel Flatla 2.
1900: Borger Fladle 64, Christe Fladle 44, Mary R Fladle 20, Hovel Fladle 17, Anna Fladle 10.
1910: Edward Bilden 37, Randy Maria Flatla Bilden 30, Beate T Bilden 6, Cora R Bilden 3.
Found in the 1915, 1920 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1915: Rauda M Bilden 35.
1920: Ed Bilden 47,[46] [42], Randi Bilden 40, Beate Bilden 16, Cora Bilden 13, Edward Erickson 78.
Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Anaheim, Orange, California:
1930: Edward T Bilden 56, Randi M Bilden 50.
1940: Edward Bilden 66, Randi M Bilden 60.
