Mrs. Esther Voight, 71, died at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Thursday, April 18, 1968.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage, with the Rev. Edward Lang officiating. Interment was at the Grafton Cemetery.

Esther Lilly Bublitz, the oldest daughter of Leo and Lydia Bublitz, was born February 1, 1897 in Mitchell County, Newburg township. She was baptized February 23, 1897, and confirmed April 9, 1911 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton by the Rev. John Landdeck. On April 12, 1925, she was united in marriage with Carl Fred Voight by the Rev. Landdeck. They were blessed with one child. After their marriage they lived at Whittemore five years and St. Ansgar two years before coming to Osage, where they resided since 1931. Esther was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, since 1934 and had been a member of the Ladies Aid and L.W.M.L. for 34 years. She also was a member of the Birthday Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Carl, her son Carl Jr. (Ruth) Voight, three grandchildren, Marcia, Paula, and Mark, Villa Park, IL; four sisters, Mabel (Rufus) Priem, St. Ansgar, Dorothy (Kenneth) Zuehl, Toeterville, Lilly (Earl) Kirchgatter, Osage, Lucille (Walter) Mitsch, Bakersfield, CA, two brothers, Walter (Irene) Bublitz, and Harold (Lucille) Bublitz, Grafton; 15 nieces and nephews, many friends and neighbors.
