A telegram received from McIntosh, Minn., yesterday morning brought the sad intelligence of the death of Laurtiz Stovern. He had been very sick for some time with the grippe, but latest advises were to the effect that he was out of danger. Deceased was a promising young man about twenty-two years of age who was born and raised in this township. For the past year or so he has been in the employ of his brothers at McIntosh.
The ammouncement of his death cast a shadow of gloom over the household of his respected family and it was indeed sorrowful news to his aged parents. The remains will reach here today or tomorrow and the funeral services will be held at the Norwegian Lutheran Church.
