Anna Olsdatter Dokkenbakken was born October 15, 1842 at Bagn, Nordre Aurdal, Norw​​ay to Ole Andersen Lundene (Dokkenbakken) (1801-1890) and Kari Knutsdatter Prestegaard (1809-1896).

Anne emigrated from Norway to Wisconsin between 1860/1863.

She marr​​ied Hans He​n​driksen on December 26, 1863 at Bostwick Valley, Wisconsin.

The couple had 6 children​:
Gustava Karina (born September 10, 1865 Dane, Wisconsin, died February 19,1898 Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa),
Olaf Hendrick (born February 10, 1868 Dane, Wisconsin, died August 30, 1935 Gary, Norman, MN),
Henry (Hendrick)(born February 25, 1870 Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa, died January 12, 1942 same),
Klara Hellina (born April 20, 1872 Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa, died October 27, 1907 same),
Ida Cristine (born January 11, 1874 Rock Grove, Floyd, IA, died April 7, 1957 Northfield, Dakota, MN) and
Hans Adolf (born May 9, 1882, died Dec 3, 1882 both at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa). ​

Anna died September 25, ​​1913 at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
