OSAGE, IOWA - Rose Morrison, age 88, of Osage, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Faith Home in Osage.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Msgr. John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 5:30 p.m.

Rose Morrison, age 88, of Osage, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at the Faith Home in Osage.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Msgr. John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 5:30 p.m.
Rose Ann (Schwab) Morrison was born June 27, 1924, in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Frank) Schwab. She lived her entire life near Osage and was educated in Osage schools through high school. Rose worked for many families doing housework. She also worked as a leader at Cedar Valley Produce, which was an egg drying plant.
On February 16, 1946, she was married to Don Morrison. Two boys were born to this couple, Dennis and Don. She was a member of Sacred Heart Guild, the Kitchen Klatter Band and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Rose enjoyed gardening, flowers, going on car rides and doing embroidery.
Rose is survived by her husband, Don Morrison of Osage; her son, Dennis (Julie) Morrison of Osage and daughter, Heather (Carroll) Blevins and sons, Aiden and Jace of Jonesboro, Georgia; her son, Don (Deb) Morrison of Elma and daughter, Courteney (Ron) and sons, Zac and Dillon of Elma; one sister, Katie (Ransom) Randall of Cedar Rapids; and one brother, Jake Schwab of Chandler, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Alex, Adolph, Pat, Andrew, Feldie and John Schwab; and one sister, Margaret Sawyer.
