OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral rites will be at 12 p m, Wednesday for George Pint, 74, at the Champion Funeral Home; burial in the Osage cemetery.
He was found dead Sunday by two granddaughters, Jeanine and Jeanette Bowers, both of Osage. He had been ill about a month, but had seemingly recovered.
Born March 20, 1873, to Anthony and Margaret Pint, on a farm east of Osage, there he grew to manhood and married Charlotte Fuller March 31 1894 and they established their home.
His wife preceded him in death in 1926.
He leaves four daughters: Mrs. Charles Bowers, Osage, Mrs. Gilbert Swartzrock, Rockford, Mrs. Lee Loomis, Charles City, Mrs. Raymond Stiniker, Omaha, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren, a brother, William, Springfield, Missouri.
Preceding him in death also were five children: Donald, Charlotte, Ashley, and twin infants; a brother, John, and three sisters: Helen Pint, Mrs. Frank Steiger, and Mrs. Anna Wagner.
