Alice Elizabeth Herron was born on June 16, 1892, at Osage, Iowa.

Alice and John Krones were united in marriage on November 23, 1910, the day before Thanksgiving, in New Hampton, Iowa. They spent their honeymoon as guests of John's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Morrissey, at McIntire, Iowa.

Alice and John established their home on a farm near Osage. They were the parents of four children.

Death: Feb. 13, 1979
Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa.
