W. O. HEFFRON SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK
CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Warren Otis Heffron, 69, rural Orchard, died of a heart attack while taking a load of cattle to the Colwell Elevator to be weighed. Funeral services were held Friday at the Grossmann Hage Funeral Home. The Rev. James Slye, pastor of the Howardville Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.
The son of George and Frances Heffron, he was born in Mitchell County, November 22, 1893. He was married to Veda Bassett, June 9, 1915.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Dean and Francis, Osage; five grandchildren, two brothers, Milton, rural Charles City; Burton, Nora Springs; a sister, Mrs. Elvin Sielstorf, Charles City.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
