MCINTIRE WOMAN IS KILLED IN RICEVILLE

Riceville – Mrs. Irving Winer, 55, McIntire, was killed Friday afternoon in a two-car collision on the Little Cedar Road northwest of here.

Authorities said the head on accident took place in front of the Emrie Workman farm
Charles Schrode, another farmer in the area, was one of the first ones at the accident scene. He said Mrs. Winer was still alive when she was removed from the wreckage, but died before a doctor arrived.

Mrs. Winer was alone in the car.
The driver of the other car, Walter R. Harmon, 62 Plymouth, was not seriously hurt. He was treated for cuts and bruises.

Authorities said Mrs. Winer’s car swerved to the wrong side of the road and struck the Harmon car.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home at Osage.
