MRS. WENDORFF RITES TUESDAY
Riceville – Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the Congregational Church in Riceville for Mrs. Hulda M. Wendorff, 70. The Rev. Norman Halliday officiated. She died at her home Saturday night.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.
She was born January 31, 1893, in Mitchell County, the daughter of William and Ernestine (Kapka) Brockney. Mrs. Wendorff was prececded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Survivors are a daughter; Mrs. Victor (Arla) Ewy of Riceville; a son, Dale, Stewartville, Minnesota; a sister, Mrs. Wrennie (Lillie) Forsythe, Riceville; and two brothers; Charlie Brockney, Riceville; and Fred Brockney, Riceville.

Hulda Brockney married George Wendorff, the son of William and Ella Louise (Wendt) Wendorff. George Wendorff was born March 23, 1894 and died September 14, 1976.
They had two children; Arla A. Wendorff born May 11, 1924 and Dale W. Wendorff born May 2, 1931.
Arla’s first husband was Luther Spencer and her 2nd husband was Victor Ewy.
Dale married Iona Queensland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Queensland.
Hulda must have divorced George before 1936. George Wendorff married Vera Buttolph on October 15, 1936, the daughter of Elmer and Myrtle (Seaman) Buttolph.
