Kenneth Despard, 89, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in McAllen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Despard, and his parents, Wesley and Alice Despard.
Survivors include: his wife, Pat Larsen Despard of Mission, Texas; his son, Roger Despard of Cynthiana, Kentucky; and his daughter, Jackie Quinlan of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. at Leesburg Christian Church.

NOTES:
Both Kenneth and Phyllis are buried in the Osage (Iowa) City Cemetery.
Phyllis was born in 1923 and died in 2000. Her maiden name was Bower, and they are buried in the Bower lot in the Osage Cemetery.
