Willard Farnham April 19, 1819 – January 25, 1901
Willard Farnham, was born in Oswego Co., New York on April 19, 1819. When Willard Farnham was sixteen years old his parents moved to Chautauqua, where he learned the trade of painter and carpenter, then removed in 1843 to Rock County, Wisconsin, where he bought a tract of land which he improved, at the same time following his trade.
In 1851 he married Emily Woodward, a daughter of Morey and Mary (Bliss) Woodward and sister of Edmond Woodward of Iowa. One son Edward Willard Farnham was born to them on December 19, 1851.
Willards wife Emily (nee Woodward) was born July 9, 1832 and died June 28, 1853 in Rock County, Wisconsin. He remained in Wisconsin until 1879, when he came to Mitchell Co., Iowa, where he married Mrs. Emma Woodward, the widow of Edmond Woodward. They occupy the homestead on section 11.

Willard Farnham married Emma (Smith) Woodward, the widow of Edmond Woodward. They had one son Ralph Delbert Farnham born June 14, 1881 in Mitchell County, Iowa.
He was survived by his wife Emma and sons, Edward Farnham from his first marriage and Ralph Farnham from his 2nd marriage and two step-sons; Elmer and Ernest Woodward.
