92, Dies at
His Meyer Home
STACYVILLE, IOWA — Funeral servIces were held Saturday morning for Peter Hemann, 92, who died at his home in Meyer on Wednesday. Funeral rites were conducted at the Sacred Heart Church at Meyer, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Bollnecke officiating. Hatten and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hemann was a farmer until he retired several years ago. He was active in civic and religious affairs in Meyer.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Joe and William; six daughters: Mrs. Hubert (Mary) Adams Mrs. Joe (Kate) Koenigs, Mrs. Ed (Regina) Wolf, Mrs. Ed (Pauline) Adams, Mrs. William [Margaret) Klapperich, all of the Meyer territory, and Mrs. Harry (Monica) Weber, of Marshfield, Wisconsin. There are also 43 grandchildren.

He was born in Illinois on October 12, 1863.
He moved to Mitchell county in 1869, with his family.
Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meyer, Iowa.
